Isaak Tirion

Isaak Tirion (* 1705 in Utrecht, † 1765 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch bookseller and publisher.

He published numerous books, series and journals. Of particular interest today are his maps, the United Netherlands in twelve parts and " Tegenwoordige State van all Volken " ( " Present State of All Nations " ) in 45 parts. Others were published as atlases. This appeared in part until after his death, the Atlas Van Zeeland in 1760, which were launched again and again until 1784.
