Iseler
Iseler northern flank by the Via Ferrata with Bad Hindelang
The Iseler is a 1,876 meter high mountain in the Allgäu. He is the mountain of upper yoke and Bad Hindelang. It belongs to Kühgundgruppe, whose highest peak is 1,907 meters high Kühgundkopf and together with this the northern end of the Rauhhorn - train. The Vertical separation of Iseler is at least 56 meters, his dominance at 600 meters, where in each case the reference Kühgundkopf mountain is.
Geology
When Iseler is a main Dolomite peaks on a base of Lias marl and stain Kössener layers ( ie stock exchange leaved marl with dark, dense and well banked limestones ).
Rise
On the Iseler led to a few years ago a single chairlift. This was converted to a six-seater chairlift. In winter there is a ski resort. On the summit of Iseler following paths lead:

- From Bad Oberdorf ( 822 m) above Ochsenberg ( approx. 3 hours)
- From Behind Stone (866 m) above the Zipfelsalpe ( approx. 3 hours)
- Schattwald ( 1072 m ) through Stuibental ( about 2.5 hours )
- From the mountain station of the Iselerbahn ( upper yoke ) (ca. 45 min. )
- From the mountain station of the Wannenjochbahn ( Schattwald ) about Stuibensattel and Zipfelsalpe (approx. 1.5 hours)
- From the mountain station of the Wannenjochbahn ( Schattwald ) about Kühgundkopf and Iselergrat ( about 2 hours)
Mountain Climbing
Since July 2008 leads above the mountain station of the cable car Iseler a rope route on the Iselergipfel and from there to Kühgundkopf. The first part of the entrance to Iselergipfel has a length of 800 meters and has been at the crux mountain guide plate difficulty of C. Otherwise, the first part of the difficulty lies in B. From the top is a small piece of climbing back before the second part of a smooth plate descends. He performs the edge under the Iselergipfel to Iselerscharte along here a piece on the normal route and back down into the flank and through grass and craggy for Kühgundkopf. Key point of the second part is the Schusterplatte, again with difficulty to C. For conservation reasons the ferrata from November to June is locked for inspections. Tour
From Iseler a trail via Bschiesser (2000 m) and Ponten ( 2044 m ) leads to Zirleseck (1872 m). From there you can reach the Alpe Willers, from where you can descend either into the valley, take a break or can continue the hike on the Jubilee. From the mountain station of Iselerbahn to Willers Alpe takes approximately three and a half hours. It can be climbed with an appropriate temporal overhead the Rohnenspitze (1990 m) and the Gaishorn ( 2247 m).
