Ismael Benegas

Ismael Benegas, full name Ismael Benegas Arevalo, ( born August 1, 1987 in Zeballos Cué ) is a Paraguayan football player.

Association

The large, depending on the source 1.82 meters or 1.83 meters defensive player standing in rows of the Paraguayan first division side Libertad Club since 2007. In the game in 2009 and 2010, he arrived there on 34 missions in the Primera División. In addition, he completed eight games in the Copa Libertadores and in the Copa Sudamericana. The Apertura 2011 he spent then in rows of Rubio Ñu and denied there 16 league games. Then he returned to the Club Libertad. From the Clausura 2011 until the end of the Apertura 2013, the statistics from other 74 top-flight appearances for him. He scored one goal. Again he came 18 times in the Copa Libertadores used. For the season 2013/14 he joined on loan to the Uruguayan club Nacional in La Liga on. A rental contract for one season with an option to extend for a further round each contains a purchase option after six and after a full year. So far ( at 20 March 2014), he came into the season to 16 league inserts ( no goals ) for the Bolsos and ran once in the Copa Libertadores.

National

In 2011 he is listed as part of the national team of Paraguay. For the Selección, he completed three previous matches ( no goals ). He was present at the time of the national coach Tata Martino at the games of the Albirroja against Romania and Argentina, Francisco Arce also called him for an encounter with Chile. In March 2013, the term of his coach Gerardo Pelusso him then nominated for the first time in his tenure for the upcoming game against Ecuador, and thus for the first time a World Cup qualifier.
