Ismaël Isaac

Ismaël Isaac, born Issiaka Kaba Diakité (born 1966 in Abidjan ) is a reggae singer from the Ivory Coast ( Côte d' Ivoire). His parents come from the place Ponodougou in the département de Boundiali ). He sings his songs in the languages ​​Mandinka, Malenke, Bambara, Jula and French.

The death of the most famous reggae artist Bob Marley moved the 15 -year-old Issiaka Diakité itself to strive for a reggae career. After minor appearances in the Ivorian Radio and Television, and only with his faith in his talent, he became a member of the 1986 Les Frères Keita, with whom he recorded three albums.

In 1990 he recorded his first solo album under the name Rahman Ismaël Isaac and thus achieved great success throughout West Africa. Three more albums were recorded and a compilation with older singles. The 2000 recorded album Black system with its roots reggae also achieved international success. Since then, Ismaël Isaac is enumerated in a squad with Alpha Blondy, Tiken Jah Fakoly and Lucky Dube.
