Ismael Zambada GarcÃa
Ismael Zambada García (aka El Mayo, born January 1, 1948 in El Álamo Badiraguato ) is a Mexican drug lord of the Sinaloa cartel. He is one of the most wanted drug lords in Mexico and the United States. Since the arrest of Joaquín Guzmán Loera (El Chapo ) End February 2014 El Mayo will become the new leader of the Sinaloa cartel.
Life
Zambada was born in El Álamo, a village in the municipality of Badiraguato ( Sinaloa ).

Several of his family members are involved in the drug trade. His eldest son, Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla (aka El Vicentillo ) was arrested in Mexico City in 2009 and extradited to the U.S. in 2010. He sits in a U.S. prison. His son Serafin Zambada Ortiz was arrested by the DEA in the U.S. in November 2013.
Jesus Reynaldo Zambada García, his brother (also known as El Rey ), which was delivered in 2012 to the United States, was also arrested in 2008. His son Omar Ismael Zambada Apodaca and Sergio Rodolfo Cazares Zambada, son of the eldest sister Agueda, were arrested together in Tijuana in April 2012.
Criminal career
