Ismaïl Aissati

Ismail Aissati ( born August 16, 1988 in Utrecht) is a Dutch- Moroccan footballer. Since the summer of 2013, the midfielder is the Russian first division club Terek Grozny under contract.

Career

Association

Aissati, son of Moroccan parents, went through the youth department of PSV Eindhoven. There he belonged since 2005 to the senior squad of PSV. In the game against AC Milan on 19 October 2005 Aissati was only 17 years, 2 months and 3 days old and thus replaced Ryan Babel ( Ajax Amsterdam at that time ) as a recent Dutchman, who ever came in the UEFA Champions League action, from. By December 2007, he completed 28 games for PSV, scoring four goals. For the second season half of the season he was loaned to FC Twente Enschede. There, he gained playing experience, to enhance the PSV after his return to the 2007/08 season.

For the 2008/09 season the young talent moved to Ajax Amsterdam in order to play more often there than at PSV Eindhoven. Due to a serious knee injury, he missed most of the season 2008/2009. After it was built on stakes in the reserve team, he graduated in the second half of the same season 9 games ( 8 of them in the starting line ). Also under new coach Martin Jol, he was a versatile player for the starting eleven. Beginning of the 2010/11 season on loan Aissati moved to SBV Vitesse Arnhem after.

For the season 2012/13 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig Antalyaspor to.

National

Aissati was at the U- 21 Football Championship in Portugal in 2006 in the Dutch squad team. Together with famous talents such as Royston Drenthe, Ryan Babel and Hedwiges Maduro, he managed to win the title for the Oranje team. A year later he was in the defense of the title on home soil in turn part of the Dutch U- 21 team.

December 30, 2008 announced the Moroccan Football Federation FRMF that Aissati will in future play for the Moroccan national football team, to his debut he came, however, only in August 2011 in a friendly against Senegal.
