Ismail Salami

Ismā ʾ īl Salami ( born January 17, 1968 in Tehran), published also known as Ali Salami and Simon Lee, is a Persian writer, Encyclopedia writers, Iranologe and a specialist in the area of the Middle East.

Life and career

The journalism of salami began in 2004, when he worked for the international daily newspaper Tehran Times. In the newspaper he first worked as a language editor and later as the General Editor. In 2007 he accepted the position of Managing Director for the website of Iran's international English-language television channel Press TV.

Salami writes mainly current news about the U.S. and the Middle East. His articles are printed in international newspapers and magazines, and some of them have been translated into other languages. As a lexicographer, he has already completed three volumes of his English- Persian dictionary of political terms in relation to news service and security measures. Salami was Dr. phil. doctorate at the University of Tehran in Shakespeare literature. He has published twelve scientific articles in international academic journals. Salami University has taught as a lecturer at the University of Tehran, Allameh Tabatabai University and Alzahra English literature.

Salami has led the Canadian Prof. Michel Chossudovsky Research on Globalisation ( Centre for Research on Globalisation ) undVeterans Today sent contributions.

Political positions

In an article published on the Centre for Research on Globalisation Article Ismā ʾ īl salami draws that many of the victims of the massacre of Hula Shiites were and also a large number of women and children, the conclusion that participation of Wahhabis and al - Qaeda for the carnage was responsible.
