ISO 3166-2:KZ
The list of ISO -3166 -2 codes for Kazakhstan contains the codes for the 14 regions (regions, kazakh. Oblys, majority Oblystar ) and two cities with special status ( kasach. Qala ).
The codes are composed of two parts which are separated by a hyphen. The first part is the country code according to ISO 3166-1 ( for Kazakhstan KZ), the second is the code for the area ( in the form of three letters) again.
