ISO 3166-2:UZ

The list of ISO -3166 -2 codes for Uzbekistan includes the codes for the twelve provinces, metropolitan cities and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The codes are composed of two parts which are separated by a hyphen. The first part is the country code according to ISO 3166-1 ( for Uzbekistan UZ), the second is the code for the province ( Viloyati ) again. The current country code in the fourth newsletter of 10 December 2002 (PDF) last updated.
