ISOCARP

ISOCARP (International Society of City and Regional Planners ) is a non-governmental international association of professional planners.

It was founded in 1965 and currently has individual and institutional members from more than 80 countries. ISOCARP is formally recognized by the UN and the Council of Europe and Euro has a formal consultative status with UNESCO. In 2010 ISOCARP organized its 46th Congress in Nairobi with the theme "Sustainable urban, Developing World ". At the conference, more than 1,000 participants from over 80 countries.
