ISS Dome

The ISS Dome ( own spelling ISS DOME, previously referred to as "Dome in Rath ") is a multi-purpose hall in the northern district of Düsseldorf Rath. For the preliminary design, the Düsseldorf-based architects RKW responsible architecture urbanism. The foundation stone was laid on 19 May 2005; the total construction cost was slightly less than 70 million euros (including parking ). Of ISS Dome was opened on 2 September 2006. Capacity
The hall offers at home games of the Düsseldorf ice hockey club Düsseldorf EC 13,400 spectators and is thus committed by the ESPRIT arena the second largest venue of the city of Dusseldorf and after the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, the Berlin-based O ₂ World and the Mannheim SAP Arena is the fourth largest hockey stadium in Germany. Concerts
In the ISS Dome also many concerts. Die Toten Hosen played their six Christmas concerts in 2009 in the hall. But international greats such as AC / DC, Rammstein, Elton John and David Guetta occurred there.
Connection
Road
The "Dome " has a very good connection to the road. The Federal Highway 52 ( Dusseldorf -Essen) passes close by, the nearest connection point Dusseldorf -Rath is about 900 meters away. Problems with the construction
