István Láng

István Láng [ iʃtva ː n ː la ŋɡ ] ( born March 1, 1933, Budapest) is a Hungarian composer.

Láng studied from 1951 to 1958 at János Viski and Ferenc Szabó at the Music Academy of Budapest. He was then musical director of the Hungarian National marionette theater. In addition to two operas, two television operas and four ballets he composed a string and a viola concerto, a bucolic Concerto for Horn and Orchestra, a Concertino for Xylophone and Orchestra, a double concerto for clarinet and harp, one funeral music for orchestra, chamber music, drama, film and television music, cantatas, choral works and songs.
