István Zsolt

István Zsolt (* June 21, 1921; † 7 May 1991) was a Hungarian football referee.

The Hungarian referee Zsolt was over 15 years as one of the world's top football referee. He participated in three World Cups. With the Football World Cup 1954 in Switzerland, he headed the quarterfinal match between Germany and Yugoslavia.

Become far more famous for German fans is the meeting of the Football World Cup 1958 in Sweden, as Zsolt refereed the semi-final match between Germany and Sweden.
