Isuzu Oasis

Isuzu Oasis

The Isuzu Oasis is a van that was manufactured by Isuzu in collaboration with Honda from 1996 to 1999. The Oasis was the only Van der brand.

There was an agreement with Honda, that these were the Isuzu Rodeo and Trooper models as Honda Passport, or Acura SLX distribute, while the Isuzu Honda Odyssey and Civic models as Isuzu Oasis, Isuzu Gemini and offered in return. Thus was the Oasis basically just a Honda Odyssey with Isuzu emblems at a cheaper price and with a better warranty. Due to the better reputation of the brand Honda Odyssey reached, however, the better sales.

The Oasis was offered in model years 1996 to 1999 in the United States. After the revision of Odyssey 1999 Isuzu continued to offer to the old model with some minor changes even the entire model year. Later Oasis models have a 2.3 -liter VTEC engine as the Honda Accord 6th generation.
