Isuzu Truck (UK)

The Isuzu Truck ( UK) Ltd.. ( ITUK ) with headquarters in Hatfield, Hertfordshire in the UK is an official dealer of Isuzu JIDOSHA kk and operates its own assembly of supplied from Thailand SKD kits for the UK market in the Portuguese Vendas Novas.

The company was founded on January 1, 1996 and located in a proportion of 15 per cent owned by the Japanese Isuzu JIDOSHA. To build up the company's investment in the amount of 300,000 pounds sterling was applied. The company's management is under the company president Nikki King. Every year from the ITUK in V.N. Automóveis, S. A. assembled in about 1,000 to 2,000 vehicles. The trucks, however, the company purchases directly from Japanese production. Around 350 people are employed currently by the company, including about 150 in the home country.

Production in Vendas Novas was incorporated in 1996 with the Isuzu Rodeo TF. After production of the previous model, which had been marketed as a Vauxhall Brava, took the identical sister models Isuzu Rodeo and Isuzu LB f is the successor. The upscale vehicle equipment to be marketed in the United Kingdom called the Isuzu Rodeo Denver. The LB, however, was intended for the North American market.

As the first import models since the late 1980s, there were in the UK the Isuzu Trooper as well as the Isuzu Bighorn on offer, which were marketed until 1996 on the Vauxhall dealers. As a newest model is mounted since late 2010, the Isuzu TT Fortigo that represents an evolution of the old TF Rodeo and is maintained with modern looks. So far, the model is still officially available on any market in the model program.

In the commercial vehicle sector, however, the imported Isuzu Grafter has been available since the company was founded. 2007 then came the Isuzu Forward added into the model program.
