Iuput

Iupet was High Priest of Amun at Thebes during the 22nd Dynasty ( Third Intermediate Period ) around 944-924 BC He was a son of Sheshonk I. His other titles were found general, army commander and later chief products of Upper Egypt.

For the first time Iupet is called in the year 10 in the bandages of the mummy of the " Djedpathiufanch ". In the 21st year of reign he mentions the great stele in Silsila and at Karnak there are reliefs of the high priest. His cenotaph was discovered at Abydos.
