IV Corps (German Empire)
The IV Army Corps was a major unit of the Prussian Army, the General Command had its headquarters in Magdeburg.
History
In the German -Prussian War 1870/1871 the corps took part in the battles of Beaumont, Sedan and Paris, among others.
The corps was at the beginning of the First World War, the VI. Army Inspection assumed.
