Ivan Herasymov

Ivan Olexandrowytsch Herassymow (Ukrainian Іван Олександрович Герасимов; born August 8, 1921 in Pestrowka ( Rajon Sterlitamak, Bashkir ASSR time in the RSFSR ), † June 4, 2008 in Kiev ) was a Ukrainian general and politician.

Herassymow sat since April 2002 for the Communist Party of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament. There, he was the oldest deputy. 1999 Herassymow was awarded the distinction of Hero of Ukraine.
