Ivan Ivančić

Ivan Ivancic (December 6, 1937 in Grabovica Tomislav degrees) is a former Croatian shot putter who competed for Yugoslavia.

In 1969 he was eighth at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade in 1970 and seventh in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Vienna. At the Olympics, he retired in 1972 in Munich and 1976 Montreal in the qualifier. In the Mediterranean Games, he won gold in 1975 and 1979 bronze.

In each case he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships 1980 in Sindelfingen, 1983 in Budapest. At the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki, he was twelfth. Seven times he was Yugoslav champion.

Ivan Ivancic is coach of the AK Agram.
