Ivan Noble

Ivan Noble ( born June 1967; † 31 January 2005) was a British science journalist in the online editors of the BBC in London. When he was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive brain tumor in August 2002, he began his personal " tumor diary " to write on the Internet on the website of the BBC. He wrote practically since the diagnosis until his death in it. Many hundreds of thousands of people have followed his diary and tries him to strengthen his back with letters to the editor. Despite chemotherapy and radiotherapy, he died at the age of 37 years on the night of 31 January to 1 February 2005. He is survived by his ( German ) wife Almut and two children. A year after his death was his book "Like a hole in the head. Tumor My Diary " out, which was developed on the basis of his blog entries.
