Iván Ramis Barrios ( born October 25, 1984 in Sa Pobla ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Wigan Athletic in the Football League Championship.
Playing career
Iván Ramis come directly from the youth of RCD Mallorca. He is one of several home-grown of the islanders. From 2001 to 2004 Iván Ramis played three years for the second team of RCD. In the 2003 /04 season, he was both his first appearances in the Primera, as well as to two inserts in the UEFA Cup.
During the 2005/06 season Iván Ramis played on loan at the then second division side Real Valladolid, where he was a regular player. After his return to RCD Mallorca, he was initially still only a reserve player, over the years, but he fought his way to a permanent place.
For the 2012/13 season Ramis left after 164 league games for the club Mallorca and moved to the Premier League Wigan Athletic, after he had turned down an offer from West Ham United.
