Ivan Rassimov

Ivan Rassimov (actually: Ivan Djarassimovic, also known as Sean Todd occurred; born May 7, 1938 in Trieste, † 13 March 2003 in Rome ) was an Italian actor.

Life

Rassimov was born to Italian - Serbian parents ( it was living in Trieste, a small Serbian minority ) and moved, after training at the University of Trieste and his military service, along with his sister Rada to Rome, in order to succeed in the film business.

After several minor roles, including Mario Bava's Planet of the Vampires (1965 ), he became increasingly occupied as a shady character, which was due to his piercing eyes and his rough facial features. He has appeared in numerous films as a Nazi officer or murder suspect. Occasionally, however, he was occupied as a positive hero, so in three spaghetti westerns of the 1967 and 1968, in which he used the pseudonym Sean Todd. Also known as Sandokan, he convinced in a film adaptation of the year 1970. Besides he was a protagonist in hundreds of Fotoromanzi.

Towards the middle of the decade Rassimov was seen in some speculative films so eaten eg Mondo Cannibale, or the bloodthirsty Alive (1980). 1987 Rassimov retired from the film business and worked as editor of a comic and book publishing.

He died after a brief illness, with almost 65 years in Rome.
