Ivan Samarin

Ivan Alexeyevich Samarin, even Ivan Samarin (Russian: Иван Алексеевич Самарин, born September 7, 1988 in Moscow ) is a Russian racing driver.

Career

Samarin's motorsport career began in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2003. His first Formula racing experience he gained in Formula RUS, in which he ended his first season in fourth place overall in 2004. In 2005, he remained in Formula RUS and improved to second place in the championship. In 2006 he moved to the Russian formula 1600th In his first season he won with four wins the championship title, which he defended in 2007. 2008, Samarin focused on his involvement in the Russian Formula 3 and was charged with four wins runner-up in this series. He also took part in two races each of the Finnish and North European Formula 3.

After he was able to participate due to lack of sponsorship at any racing series in 2009, he returned in 2010 to motorsport back and raced in the Formula 2 end of the season, he finished with a third place as best result in twelfth place overall in the championship. In 2011, Samarin part for Stromos ArtLine the second race weekend of the German Formula 3 Cup.
