Ivan Smagghe

Ivan Smagghe (born 1971 ) is a French DJ, remixer and producer in the field of techno.

Early in his career he produced initially with Arnaud Rebotini under the pseudonym Black Strobe his first tracks. He had a week to hear from 1996 to 1999 the Paris radio station Nova in his mission Bad Karma. Even with radio stations like Couleur 3, on the island at Galaxy FM or at Grenouille in Marseille were listening to his DJ mixes. For Radio Nova, he organized a DJ pool, which among other things, Laurent Garnier counts.

In 2001 he founded with The Foundation set up his own label, with whom he mainly lesser-known artists would provide a platform. In 2004 his highly acclaimed mix CD Ivan Smagghe Presents Death Disco appears.

End of 2009, a mix CD appeared with Live at Robert Johnson Vol 3 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Offenbach techno clubs Robert Johnson.
