Ivana Lie

Ivanna Lie Ing Hoa ( born March 7, 1960 in Bandung ) is a former Indonesian badminton player. It was 1978 and 1981 Vice World Champion with the Indonesian women's team.

Career

In the final of the Uber Cup in 1978, the Indonesian team met once more to Japan and lost with 2:5. Ivanna Lie defeated in this finale in the single Saori Kondo with 3:11 and 3:11. 1981 Indonesia Japan was defeated in the finals again, and remained winless in two Lie Single. She lost against Theresa Saori Kondo and Yoshiko Yonekura just under in three sets.

In the individual events, she was first in the 1982 Mixed by Christian Hadinata at the Asian Games. The Badminton World Championship 1980 she won silver behind compatriot Verawaty. In 1983, she won gold at the Southeast Asian Games in women's singles.
