Ivo Perišin

Ivo Perišin ( born July 4, 1925 in Kastel Luksic, † October 30, 2008 in Zagreb) was a Yugoslav politician and economist.

He studied at the Universities of Zagreb and Belgrade. Since 1956 he worked as a professor in the economics department at the University of Zagreb. In 1977 he became a member of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts (now the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts).

From 1965 to 1967, Ivo Perišin mayor of Split, then Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance Yugoslav From 1969 to 1971 he was chief of the Yugoslav National Bank and next 1969-1972 Member of the Council of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel. 1974 to 1978 he was President of the Parliament of the Parliament of the Socialist Republic of Croatia.
