Ivvavik National Park (English Ivvavik National Park of Canada, French Parc national du Canada Ivvavik ) is an association founded in 1984 Canadian National Park in the Yukon Territory in northwestern Canada with an area of 10,168 km ². The park is located in the extreme northwest of the territory on the coast of the Beaufort Sea and on the border with Alaska and the local Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. In the south, directly connects to the Vuntut National Park. Managed the park from the state organization Parks Canada.
In the language of the Inuvialuit " Ivvavik " means something like " place, is born on the ". The Porcupine caribou herd brings in the region of national parks to their offspring.
