Iwakura, Aichi
Iwakura (Japanese岩 仓 市, -shi ) is a city in Aichi Prefecture in Japan. It lies north of Nagoya.
History
Iwakura was awarded city status on 1 December 1971.
Attractions
Iwakura is known for the Cherry Blossom Festival (桜 祭りsakura matsuri ) along the Gojo River, which is considered one of the greatest sakura festivals in Aichi.
