iWork.com

IWork.com was a web service from Apple that should complement Apple's own office suite iWork. With iWork.com it was possible to upload iWork documents on the server to see with others, to annotate documents and to download the Microsoft Office format or as a PDF file. However, it was not possible to edit the documents directly online.

For providing document iWork '09 or iWork one app for the iPad or iPhone / iPod touch and an Apple ID and Internet access required.

Since March 2010, the documents can be viewed even without invitation (previously this was necessary ), but no comments can be written. iWork.com was introduced at Macworld in 2009 as a free beta version. Although Apple has announced plans to make the service free of charge when a full version is available.

The service left the beta stage and was never adjusted during the transition to iCloud as of 31 July 2012.
