Izabella Sierakowska

Izabella Sierakowska ( born September 22, 1946 in Góra Śląska ) is a Polish politician and Member of the Sejm in the X.Wahlperiode (PRL ), as well as I, II, III. , IV, V and VI (Third Republic ).

She finished her studies at the Faculty of Philology of the Russian Pedagogical University in Rzeszów. In 1970, she joined the Polska Zjednoczona partia Robotnicza ( Polish United Workers' Party - PZPR ) a. In 1987 she was a delegate of the Tenth Congress of the PZPR. The Sejmwahlen 1989 she was elected on the list of PZPR. 1991, 1993, 1997 and 2001, she won over the list of Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Democratic Left Alliance - SLD) each have a deputy's mandate. She was one of the Socjaldemokracja Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej ( Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland - SdRP ) and was a member of the SLD since 1999. In 2004 she joined the newly formed party Socjaldemokracja Polska ( Polish Social Democracy - SDPL ). In the Sejm of the Fourth legislature she fulfilled the role of vice-chairman of the Commission for Defence and Member of the Commission for Health Policy. In 1996 she was co-author of the law to liberalize the law on abortion.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections it was for the electoral district of Lublin again with 24,870 votes MPs, this time from the list of Lewica i Demokraci ( Left and Democrats - LiD ). She is a member of the Sejm Commission for Defence and environmental protection.

On 22 April 2008 she became a member of the newly formed group SDPL - Nowa Lewica.
