Izrael Poznański

Izrael Kalmanowicz Poznański (born 25 August 1833 in Aleksandrów, Poland, † April 28, 1900 in Łódź ) was a philanthropist, businessman and producer.

Izrael Kalman Poznański was a Polish-Jewish paper manufacturer. Worth seeing even today in Łódź Poznanski the palace, which houses the Museum of History of the City of Łódź, just as the old paper mill of the family. The site of the paper mill was remodeled. Since 2006 there is the shopping center Manufaktura.
