J. Holiday

J. Holiday ( born September 6, 1982 in Washington, DC; Nahum Grymes real name ) is an American R & B singer.

As Grymes was eleven, his father died and his mother - a pastor - took over his upbringing. In a school talent show matured him as a 14- Years' of the decision to become a singer. Later he went prematurely from school and joined a band called 295 at. Despite promising beginnings, they broke up in 2003 and he began a solo career. Discovered by Anthony Tate, he got a recording contract with Capitol Records in 2007 and produced his debut album Back of My Lac '.

Already with the first single Bed J. Holiday celebrated a huge success. The single was not only an R & B number - one, but peaked in the U.S. Hot 100 5th place, even in the British charts, the song could place. Then managed then the album at number 5 on the Billboard charts and was certified gold. The second single Suffocate again came under the official Top 20
