J.C. Flowers & Co.

J. C. Flowers & Company is a private equity company, which was founded in 2002 by J. Christopher Flowers, a former Goldman Sachs partner. J. C. Flowers is among the focused exclusively on the financial services sector financial investors claims to be the world's largest. Overall, J. C. has Flowers so far invested around nine billion U.S. dollars, spread over 20 individual transactions. More than half of this investment capital is tied up in seven European transactions (as of May 2008).

On the German market Flowers has been active since 2004. Flowers holds less than 10% of HRE and around 10% in HSH Nordbank. J. C. Flowers & Co, has so far launched two private equity funds, JC Flowers I L.P. (2007 with over seven billion U.S. dollar closed investment capital ) and JC Flowers II L.P.
