Jaap Eggermont

Jaap Eggermont ( born October 31, 1946 in The Hague) is a Dutch musician and producer.

His music career began in 1964 as a drummer for the famous Dutch band Golden Earring. He comes with four LPs the band and creates with her musical breakthrough.

1969 changes Eggermont the pages in the music business and is the producer. Among the groups produced by him include many national top ten artists such as Greenfield & Cook, Sandy Coast, Spooky & Sue, Long Tall Ernie & The Shakers and the internationally very successful Earth & Fire.

His biggest success was the music project Stars on 45, with which he conquered the world with oldies medleys the top of the charts.

He also established the Formula One topic from 1985, one of the theme songs for the German pop music broadcast Formula One.

Since the 90s Eggermont produced mainly advertising music, among other things, for some well-known corporations, and film music.
