Jacek Zieliński (footballer born 1967)

Jacek Zielinski ( born October 10, 1967 in Wierzbica ) is a Polish footballer (defender ) and coach.

Career

In his youth he played for Orzel Wierzbica, before joining Igloopol Dębica, where he played his first Senior Games. Most of his career he played but after joining in 1991 at the Polish first division club Legia Warsaw, where he was captain of the team for years.

National

In the Polish national team, he made ​​his debut on 7 June 1995 against Slovenia. Overall, Jacek Zielinski graduated 60 caps for Poland, in which he scored a goal. He participated in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea with Poland.

Coaching career

In the 2004/05 season he coached briefly his former club Legia Warsaw and then to 2007 was assistant coach. In 2007 he was again on a transitional basis, the coach of Legia Warsaw.
