Jack Bicknell

Jack Bicknell ( born February 20, 1938) is a former American football coach, among other things, the Hamburg Sea Devils, a German American football team that played in the NFL Europe, has trained.

Called Jack Bicknell, due to his fondness for country music even Cowboy Jack, began his career in 1976 as a coach at the University of Maine, where he remained until 1980. He then went as a coach for Boston College, where he worked until 1990. In 1991 he then moved to the NFL Europe to the Barcelona Dragons, with whom he also reached the final of the World Bowls, but which lost its team with 12:21 against the London Monarchs. In 1997, then with the Dragons his first title win he succeeded with a victory against the Rhein Fire. In October 2003 he moved to the Scottish Claymores. When the Claymores in 2005 the operation of gambling einstellten, Bicknell finally moved to the Hamburg Sea Devils who took the place of the Claymores. Jack Bicknell came back later for health reasons as head coach of the Hamburg Sea Devils.
