Jack Kelsey

Alfred John "Jack" Kelsey ( born November 19, 1929 † March 18, 1992 ) was a Welsh football goalkeeper.

Life and career

The goalkeeper started his career with the Welsh club Winch Wen. 1949 Kelsey was taken from the Arsenal under contract. After two years with the reserve team of Welsh made ​​his debut against Charlton Athletic in February 1951. After another year in the second team, he became the first goalkeeper of the Gunners. His greatest success was the champion title in 1953 with the Arsenal and the other meetings in the London XI for the final of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup and for the British national football team against Ireland. International Kelsey played 41 times for the Welsh national team. Kelsey played at the Football World Cup 1958 in Sweden.
