Jack Mulcahy (actor)

Jack Mulcahy ( born April 22, 1954 in New York City as John Joseph Francis Mulcahy III ) is an American actor.

Life and achievements

Mulcahy grew up in New York City and graduated from the prestigious Stuyvesant High School. He first worked as a singer of several musical groups. He played his first role on the side of Kim Cattrall at the award winning comedy Porky's (1982 ), which was one of the most financially successful films of the year. In the fantasy film Creating Rem Lezar (1989 ), he played the lead role. In the award-winning comedy The Brothers McMullen (1995 ), he played the role of Jack McMullen, brother of Barry ( Edward Burns) and Patrick (Mike McGlone ). The award-winning independent film The Reunion ( 1998) he became one of the major roles.

In the years 2005 and 2006 Mulcahy directed the plays Primetime and Romantic Tragedy, which he wrote and in which he worked as a producer. They were listed in Off-Broadway theaters.
