Jackie Cerone

Jackie Cerone actually John "Jackie The Lackey " Cerone (* July 7, 1914, † 20 November 1996) was Italian- American mobster and during the 1960s, head of the Chicago Outfit.

During the 1950s, Cerone driver by Anthony Accardo and was later promoted in particular by Sam Giancana. As the " Enforcer " (English: enforcer, enforcers ) Cerone was arrested over 20 times, including for armed robbery, illegal gambling and betting assumptions embezzlement. So it is brought into connection with the murder of loan shark William " Action " Jackson and was from 1966 as the successor to Sam Battaglia as head of the Chicago Outfit, as this had been imprisoned in 1966 and died in prison in 1973.

Cerone was convicted in 1986 along with Joseph Auippa, Joseph Lombardo, Angelo LaPietra, Milton J. Rockman and Carl DeLuna because of the financial levy of casinos in Las Vegas in the amount of two million dollars. He was released shortly before his death in 1996.
