Jackie Evancho

Jackie Evancho (as Jacqueline Marie Evancho, born April 9, 2000) is an American young soprano. A wide audience it became known in 2010 through their participation in the fifth season of the talent show America's Got Talent, where she reached the second place. Their repertoire is a crossover between classical music and pop.

Career

In November 2009, an independently published debut album was released under the title Prelude to a Dream. After she received a recording contract from Syco Music, came in November 2010, the album O Holy Night on the market. It reached # 2 on the American Billboard charts and was awarded a platinum record. 2011 and 2012 were three more albums on the market, all of which debuted in the top 10 spots on the Billboard 200. In classical- crossover.co.uk leads the rankings with twice as many votes as the second place person.

As an actress Evancho 2012 occurred in Robert Redford film, The Company You Keep in appearance. The film had its premiere at the International Film Festival in Venice in 2012 and was also listed later at the Toronto International Film Festival. From 25 July 2013, the film under the title The Company You Keep is - The Act Grant be shown in German cinemas.
