Jaclyn Hawkes

Jaclyn Hawkes ( born December 3, 1982 in Hong Kong) is a former New Zealand squash player.

Career

Jaclyn Hawkes began her professional career in 2003 and won on the WSA World Tour three titles. Their highest placing in the world rankings, it reached twelfth place in December 2010. They celebrated their greatest success at the 2010 Commonwealth Games when she won the gold medal in doubles with Joelle King. In 2009, Jaclyn Hawkes won the national championship. The end of 2012 it was due to her pregnancy, her career end known.

Jaclyn Hawkes was born in Hong Kong, where she grew up also. Only at the age of 15 she moved with her family to New Zealand. She is the daughter of Richard Hawkes, a former professional tennis player, who played once in 1968 for the New Zealand Davis Cup team. In 2004, she completed her studies with a degree in law and marketing. On June 7, 2012 Jaclyn Hawkes married to the British Squash Professional Jonathan Kemp. Hawkes was the end of 2012 announced that she and Kemp expecting a child together. In early June 2013 were Jaclyn Hawkes mother of a daughter.
