Jacob Ochtervelt

Jacob Lucasz Ochtervelt ( born February 1, 1634 Rotterdam, † 1682 in Amsterdam) was a Dutch Baroque painter.

According to the art historian Arnold Houbraken Ochtervelt studied with Pieter de Hooch probably about 1646-1655 at Nicolaes Berchem. 1655 married Ochtervelt Dirkje Meesters in the Dutch Reformed Church in Rotterdam. Many of his paintings can be seen today in internationally renowned museums. The image of the lemon slices, which is located in the Bavarian State Painting Collections, 1938 arisiert.
