Jacob Vosmaer
Jacob Woutersz Vosmaer (* 1574 in Delft, † June 30, 1641 ) was a Dutch painter is attributed to the golden age.
Life
Jacob Woutersz Vosmaer was born in 1574 as the son of a goldsmith Wouter Arentsz Vosmaer in Delft. Trained by Jacob de Gheyn he registered before 1613 as a painter at the St.Lukas Guild, whose board he joined in 1633. He was best known for his flower paintings.
He was the uncle of the painter Christaen van Couwenbergh. The painter Jacob Mogensen Ulfeldt, Abraham and Daniel Vosmaer Vosmaer were trained by him.
