Jacob Wilson

Jacob Wilson (born 17 March 1990 in Crawfordsville, Indiana) is an American race car driver.

Career

Wilson began his motorsport career in karting at age six and remained active until 2006 in this sport. In 2008 he moved to USAC racing series. He won a race in the USAC Sprint Car Series and 22 in the championship. He also competed in the USAC Silver Crown Series and finished the season in 18th place in 2009 was Wilson in both racing series. He finished 16th overall in the USAC Silver Crown Series and was on the 21st place in the USAC Sprint Car Series. In 2010 he again took part in race of this series.

After Wilson in 2011 to race in the USAC Silver Crown each Series and the USAC National Midget Series was active, he made his Formula racing debut in the Indy Lights. He participated in two race weekends for Belardi Auto Racing. Already in his first race, he qualified for the third starting position. In the race he lost in the first round control of his vehicle and turned. As not all drivers were able to avoid, drove into each other several cars. A total of five pilots resigned from in this accident. All drivers were unhurt. In his second race, he came in fifth place finish and was at the end of the season at the 22nd place in the drivers' standings.
