Jacqueline Cruz
Jacqueline Marie Cruz ( born December 2, 1986 in San Mateo, California) is an American- Puerto Rican soccer player.
Career
As a player
In the club
Cruz started her career in 2000 with the WASA California North Stars in the NorCal Premier Soccer League. She played from autumn 2000 for the Women Soccer Team of Notre Dame High School Belmont. In the summer of 2004, Cruz enrolled at San Jose State University and played for the Spartans Soccer Team. In dsr 2006 season much she was on good performances and chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year in 2007.
In September 2007, she went to continue his studies at the California State University, East Bay, where she was part of the Pioneers Women Soccer Team. During the semester break, she appeared in the summer of 2007 for the San Francisco Nighthawks in the Women's Premier Soccer League. After her university degree in 2009, she moved to the 2010 WPSL season to California Storm. On 2 February 2011, she announced her move to the German 2nd Bundesliga club BV Cloppenburg.
On July 19, 2012, the Puerto Rican national team football moved to Magdeburg FFC. In June 2013, it returned from Magdeburg in the USA, where she is studying at Arizona State University from August 2013. In early November of 2013 with the beginning of the semester break, she returned temporarily to Magdeburg and announced on November 10, 2013 her comeback for the Magdeburg FFC against the reserve team VfL Wolfsburg.
National
Cruz played since 2010 in 12 international matches for the Puerto Rican national football team of women.
As a trainer
From 2000 to 2008 Cruz worked alongside their studies and active football career as a youth coach of the WASA Soccer Academy. In the fall of 2008, she was new coach of the Alameda Hornets, the Women Soccer Team of Alameda High School in San Francisco.
Private
Cruz studied 2004-2006 International Business at San José State University and Master of Business Administration from 2007 to 2009 at the California State University, East Bay. She is currently in a relationship with the male football player Kevin Nennhuber from 1 FC Magdeburg.
