Jacqueline Pascal

Jacqueline Pascal ( born October 4, 1625 Clermont- Ferrand, † October 4, 1661 in Paris) was the sister of Blaise Pascal and Roman Catholic nun.

She was a child prodigy and wrote poems at age eight, and at the age of eleven, a comedy in five acts. She taught Blaise Pascal in her parents' house. 1646 she was under the influence of her brother to a follower of Jansenism. She stepped decided against papal bull on that damn Jansenism, but had to give in eventually.
