Jacques Borlée

Jacques Borlée ( born September 27, 1957 in Stanleyville, Belgian Congo ) is a Belgian athletics coach. His children Olivia, Kévin and Jonathan Borlée are, as he himself successfully to his active time in the sprint area.

Jacques Borlée was eight times Belgian champion, twice in the 100 -meter run (1981 and 1983 ), four times in the 200 -meter run (1979, 1981, 1983 and 1984) and once each in the 400 - meter dash (1982 ) and in 400 - meter hurdles (1977). At the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 he reached the quarter-final round of the 400 meters. His biggest international success was winning the silver medal over 200 meters at the European Indoor Athletics Championships 1983 in Budapest.
