Jacques de Flesselles

Jacques de Flesselles ( born November 11, 1730 in Paris, † July 14, 1789 ) was a French Provost.

Flesselles was head of the Parisian merchants and mayor of Paris. After storming of the Bastille marched, the amount applied to the Paris city hall to Flesselles to justice. When he crossed the square he was shot by an unknown person. This Flesselles includes not only the commander of the Bastille, Bernard -René de Launay Jordan to the first noble victims of the French Revolution. The heads were worn then the cheers of the population on pitchforks through the streets of the capital
