The Jadro is a river in Dalmatia, Croatia, which flows through the town of Solin. The length of the river is only 4 km, however, the river offers a very rich water resources for the surrounding villages and thus he also supplied the places Split, Kastela and Trogir with water. People from Solin call the river also " Solinska America ".
The river is home to the endangered trout subspecies Jadra ( Salmothymus obtusirostris Salonitana ).
