Jäglitz

The Jäglitz is a small river in the Prignitz. The source is located in the Great Luch at Dannenwalde ( Prignitz ). It is divided in Neustadt ( Dosse) in the New and the Old Jäglitz.

The New Jäglitz opens in Havel mountain in the Havel, whereas the Old Jäglitz flows at Rübehorst in the Dosse. The lower reaches of the two Jäglitz - arms was dammed with the draining of the Rhinluch to 1774. Before reclamation, the Jäglitz united at the present site black water in Neustadt (Dosse ) with the Dosse to an inaccessible swamp, "Black Water ".
